2024 FINANCIAL SUMMARY

First and foremost, the Board of Directors of Bridging Faith Gaps (BFG) would like to thank all of our financial donors, volunteers, supporters, and allies for your contributions in making this past year a success. The year 2024 was BFG’s first full year in operation. Although there are many challenges when beginning a non-profit organization in rural areas, all members of BFG were determined to overcome these challenges while continuing to live up to our mission and values.

Through two significant private grants, many smaller monetary donations, and an abundance of clothing and hygiene donations, BFG distributed hygiene and immediate needs resources using the Mobile Resource Pantry to the marginalized and underserved in the local communities. These funds were also used for marketing and advertising purposes for the organization itself as well as each of the seven(7) events that were successfully organized and implemented in 2024. In looking toward our five-year goals, $5000 of the unallocated funds were used to open a non-profit Brokerage Account with Raymond James Financial Services. The purpose of this Brokerage account is to grow funds for future large projects such as a temporary homeless shelter, assistance housing programs, community gardens, after-school educational programs for youth, and life skills training programs for the underserved and marginalized in rural communities. The Brokerage accounts allow BFG to acquire stocks and bonds as donations in addition to cash. Also, the dividends are being re-invested into the Brokerage account for continued growth.

The largest event of the year that BFG sponsors and organizes is the Annual Community Thanksgiving Meal in November. The expected cost for this event was $7000. This included marketing and advertising, supplies, bottled water, and the remaining food that was not donated by local churches, non-profit organizations, and individuals. With everyone’s hard work, we came under budget by nearly $500. This end-of-year event brings in hundreds of people in our diverse community to share a Thanksgiving meal and provide needed resources for the coming winter months. In November of 2024, we provided over seven hundred and fifty(750) meals to the community.

As 2024 comes to a close, we are so grateful for the communal, governmental, and individual support that really brought our mission to fruition. The following pages are our Financial Statements-Balance Sheet, Operations P&L, and Brokerage P&L for the 2024 year. Please feel free to contact BFG via email with any questions. We will respond as quickly as possible.

Sincerely,

Annie J Hill
